I Love Dandelions!

I have always been a daisy kinda girl. Not the big gerber daisies, although I love them, but the small white daisies you can see in multiples growing in a field. My bridal bouquet was full of daisies. If you see a vase of flowers in my house, rest assured it will be full of white daisies. I am now considering adding some dandelions!

This really happened. I was at Lowes Home Improvement shopping for my garden. Well, the truth is.....I was lost in the gardening section trying to figure out what was organic, what hybrid meant, where the peat moss was, and so on. Feeling a bit frustrated, I found myself having an interesting conversation with a lady who told me that human hair would keep rabbits and deer away away from my garden.

After choosing your method of gardening it is important to design your garden. If you find single row gardening to be a challenge with your busy lifestyle, I encourage you to try raised bed gardening! I personally love the Square Foot Method of gardening so much I decided to become an SFG Certified Instructor! Here is a picture of my first raised bed garden. This was before I learned the SFG Method. My garden looks good, but I had a lot of wasted space. Believe it or not, with the Square Foot Method, I have double the harvest!
